Structured trade, from mandate to settlement.
Alkebulan originates and coordinates cross-border transactions involving verified demand, qualified supply and a clearly defined route to finance, delivery and settlement.
Three transaction pathways
Intra-African Trade
We connect buyers and suppliers across African markets and coordinate the commercial, financial and operational requirements of the transaction.
Strategic Imports
We structure access to machinery, equipment, industrial inputs and essential goods that strengthen productive capacity and support industrial development.
Exports and Offtake
We connect African producers with credible regional and international buyers and support the transaction through contracting, finance, verification and delivery.
Our role in the transaction
Depending on the mandate, Alkebulan may act as a trading counterparty, structured intermediary or transaction coordinator. The applicable role, responsibilities and commercial terms are defined contractually at the outset.
Finance and payment security
Capital and payment security are structured around the underlying trade. Working with regulated financial institutions and approved providers, Alkebulan may coordinate documentary letters of credit, confirmed or transferable letters of credit, guarantees, trade facilities, trade credit insurance, documentary collections or independent escrow arrangements, depending on the transaction.
Alkebulan is not a bank and does not represent that financing is guaranteed. Financing, custody and payment services are provided by appropriately regulated institutions, subject to their independent approval and applicable law.
Execution partners
Legal counsel, inspection firms, insurers, financial institutions, freight providers, warehouse operators and customs specialists are engaged according to the needs of each transaction. Alkebulan coordinates their roles and the flow of documentation across the transaction.
